Connecting with Source is easy, fun, and natural.
You connect with Source not to gain anything, not to achieve anything, not to find salvation.
It is not a means to an end. There are no external motives.
Connecting to Source is joyful in itself. You do it for your own enjoyment.
You do it because it is resonance with your true Self.
Therefore nothing could be more easy, fun, and natural.
To the ego mind, it seems anything but.
It seems hard, demanding, and unnatural.
Which makes sense. How can you ask the mind to turn off the mind?
If you think of yourself as a mind, then meditation, or trying to still the mind, or connecting to Source,
will be a frustrating act of futility.
The mind thinks of meditation as a “practice”, something you have to work at.
The mind thinks of connecting with Source as something you have to do to gain salvation, it is serious stuff, your eternal salvation depends on it.
The mind thinks of connecting with stillness as something abstract, unfamiliar, outside of you, something that it doesn’t understand.
Listening to Alan Watts last night, it helped me appreciate the importance of knowing you are already saved.
It is more than predestined; it is already done.
The ego mind believes that it needs to be saved.
Therefore it is in a constant state of fear and insecurity.
Connecting with Source or God is serious business.
The true self, the soul, knows that it is already saved.
Therefore it needs not seek for anything.
Connecting with Source or God is its natural state of being.
So when I meditate and throughout the day when I connect with Source,
I shall keep the inner knowing that connecting with Source is easy, fun, and natural.
I am already saved. There is no need to try. There is only reason to rejoice and have fun.
This change in perspective, does not make you complacent.
Trying drains energy. Rejoicing gives energy.
That is why when we try so hard to seek spiritual enlightenment and salvation, it alludes us.
Our intention of it being hard labor and unnatural, does not resonate with the true nature of Source.
If our energy is that of easy, fun, natural joy, trust, silliness, freedom, a sense of “I’ve already won it all!”,
then your energy is resonating with Source and you realize the whole point of existence is not a serious survival challenge to find salvation, but a fun joyous silly expression of love – like a spontaneous laugh. HA!
